Bakchich Café Marrakech
Bakchich Cafe is a great little café located just off the main square of Jemaa el Fna at the junction of Rue des Banques and Riad Zitoun el Jdid. To get there, from the main square, take the street that runs between Cafe de France and the restaurant Le Marrakchi. You’ll find Bakchich Café facing you at the bottom.
Offering freshly prepared food at very reasonable prices, it’s a great spot for anything from a coffee or one of their delicious fresh juices, a salad or something more substantial. The menu features various fresh salads – avocado, tuna, chicken – paninis, sandwiches, tagines and couscous. It’s also a good option for anyone vegetarian.
Bakchich Cafe is decorated in bright happy colours, with upholstery and lamps created from recycled packaging.
The cafe attracts a mixed clientele of tourists, expats and locals. The atmosphere is fun, friendly and relaxed. It’s easy to strike up conversation with customers at the next table – there is also free wi-fi, so for anyone travelling alone in Marrakech, it’s a great spot to spend some time.
The staff at Bakchich Cafe also are warm and welcoming, happy to chat and get to know you. It’s a fun, welcoming spot to take a break from the bustle of the surrounding medina.
Bakchich Cafe Marrakech is open all day from 09h30 to 22h30.
