The Carre Eden Shopping Centre on Boulevard Mohamed V in Gueliz, Marrakech, opened to the public in May, 2014. There are 60 retail units including electronics, cosmetics, home furnishings and some major brands of casual clothing and sportswear including H&M, Springfield, Adidas, Guess and Lacoste. Shopping in Marrakech has never been so easy or so much fun!
On the basement level, Carrefour has a well stocked supermarket, a useful addition for residents of central Gueliz. It’s open from 08h00 until 22h00.
In true mall style, the top floor of Carre Eden Marrakech is dedicated almost entirely to a food court, which includes representation from Sushi Store, Dominos Pizza, Wok to Walk and De Gino’s restaurant. Off to one side is a decent café-restaurant, Cafe Lobo, serving a variety of international dishes -salads, sandwiches, and breakfasts.
Outside on the street level next to Nespresso is La Table de Marché, offering its most popular menu items from their location in the Hivernage – chocolates, macarons, pastries… On the opposite end of the building is Marrakech’s first Starbucks, arguably confirming Marrakech’s status as a truly international destination.
In the centre of the outside promenade is the Radisson Blu Hotel.
