Dar Cherifa is a magical, wonderfully restored, 16th century house built around a central courtyard with tall columns, ancient stucco work and old carved beams.
The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, it’s a great place to rest for a couple of hours, or on a rainy day, spend the day with a good book.
Located near the Mouassine Mosque, it features art exhibitions and serves some of the most delicious food in Marrakech! Open from 09h00 – 19h00, drinks, light refreshments and lunch are served throughout the day. Not to miss: Ginger Chicken, Grilled Vegetables, Orange Cake!
On the ground floor there are lots of alcoves with lazy sofas for dreaming, a small boutique shop, and then if you venture up the narrow, stone staircase, a delightful two-tier sun terrace offers an optimal spot for watching the setting sun.
Dar Cherifa can also be booked for exclusive use and makes a stunning setting for birthdays and other special events.
